Our litigation team consists of attorneys, investigators, paralegals. We gather and evaluate information and evidence for hearings and trials involving personal injury, business issues, employment claims, contract disputes, family law and commercial matters. We interview witnesses, evaluate documents, consult with experts, and fully prepare our clients for testifying at hearings and trials.
Litigation involves much more than gathering up the important evidence and evaluating that evidence. The trial process also involves the presentation of that evidence to judges and juries. Some of our lawyers are board certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as civil trial specialists. We use state of the art technology to assist us in communicating with judges and juries. We use computers, animation, video-conferencing, and blow-up display boards of documents and photographs so judges and juries understand points we are making.
While we prepare each case as if it were going to go to trial, we also recognize that the great majority of the time, the case will settle without the need for a full trial. We believe that this is the direct result of the level of our preparedness. Other lawyers know that we are prepared to go to trial and will put on a great case. As a result they are less likely to take unreasonable positions and a favorable settlement is made more likely.n
