Herrrick & Hart Wins Case at Wisconsin Supreme Court

The lawyers of Herrick & Hart have won a major case at the Wisconsin Supreme Court. In Miller v. Carroll, the Wisconsin Supreme Court affirmed the Court of Appeals and held that a new trial should be ordered in a family case. The trial of the matter was handled by another firm. The briefing was performed by Stephanie Finn. The oral argument was conducted by Terry Moore.
The main issue in the case was the trial judge's friending of a litigant on Facebook during a family law matter. The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled that our client's right to due process was violated and that a new trial should be ordered.
