Motorcycle Riders are Vulnerable

August 2021

A person riding on a motorcycle is in a vulnerable position to receive an injury in a crash.  A motorcycle does not protect a rider's body in any way.  A car driver turning left in front of a motorcycle is a common cause of motorcycle accidents.  A motorist has a duty to keep a lookout and manage and control their vehicle.  A car driver will often fail to see a motorcycle and misjudge the speed at which a motorcycle is travelling.  Even at low speeds, a collision between a car and motorcycle can be deadly.

If you have been riding a motorcycle and have been injured due to the negligence of a car driver, you should consider contacting Herrick & Hart.  We have been assisting the injured for over 70 years.  We offer a free consultation on personal injury cases.  We have a team of lawyers who practice in the area of personal injury law and are ready to serve you.
