Boating Safety - Wear Your Life Jacket

July 2016

We are now in the middle of summer and the water recreation season is in full swing.  We want to take a moment to remind those having fun on the water to wear their life jacket.  The United States Coast Guard estimates that 80% of water fatalities could be avoided with the use of a life jacket.  A life jacket that fits is also a life jacket that a person will wear.  A life jacket should be inspected on a regular basis.  A life jacket that is water logged, faded or leaking should be discarded.

If you have been injured due to the negligence of another, you should take time to make the informed choice.  At Herrick & Hart, we have been representing the injured for over 60 years.  We help the injured through a complicated process to obtain just compensation.
